A “Certificate of Attendance” is provided to all those who attend an informational event where no “assessed” element or evaluation of your performance has been completed.
A number of Lantra training courses are certificated via a Certificate of Attendance; generally those which have 8 or more attendees
A “Certificate of Training” is provided to all those who attend, and complete, a training course that either includes an “assessed” element or where the instructor has made an evaluation of the skills demonstrated via written feedback.
This valuable performance feedback will be provided with, or written on, the Certificate of Training as a way to communicate the elements which may need further consolidation or where the attendee performed the best.
Where the attendee has been booked on to the event by their Employer, the Employer will be provided with a pdf copy of the Certificate of Training. All original copies will always go direct to the attendee themselves.
A “Certificate of Accreditation” is provided to candidates who successfully pass a formal “Ofqual” assessment, this is normally through either City & Guilds NPTC and Lantra Awards.
Both City & Guilds NPTC and Lantra Certificates are accompanied by an ID Skills Card, where a candidate photo has been provided.
Where the attendee has been booked on to the Assessment by their Employer, the Employer will be provided with a pdf copy of the Certificate of Accreditation. All original copies will always go direct to the candidate themselves.
A Digital Credential, or Digital Badge, is just the same as a paper based certificate, however it only exists online in “digital” format.
