This is a 2 day mwmac Ltd course, taking in Hafren Forest, near Llanidloes. (Full objectives for this course can be found here).
The City & Guilds NPTC Assessment will be completed approx one week after the initial training at the same venue. Full qualification guidance can be found here.
You must hold the required pre-requisite qualifications to book on to this course:
- Chainsaw Maintenance & Crosscutting - Felling Small Trees up to 380mm
It is also recommended that all attendees hold a current Emergency First Aid at Work + Forestry Certificate.
Please note, equipment is not provided for this course; trainees will be expected to bring their own equipment (see course information sheet for details).
