WHO IS THIS FOR?

Anyone required to use a Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) as part of their work. This would include novices and experienced operators who require their skills up-dating.

Duration:

1 days Training with an integrated City & Guilds NPTC Assessment

Attendees:

max. 4 per course

Venue:

This is normally completed on a mwmac site locally to Builth Wells or Llandrindod Wells.

If you have enough people for a full course we are able to run this course on your site (subject to a pre-course visit).

Pre-requisites:

None

Qualification:

City and Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award in the Safe Use of a Mobile Elevated Work Platform

mwmac Training Certificate & City & Guilds NPTC Qualification Certificate

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

To be able to review of current legislation and risk assessment
To undertake MEWP inspection and setup
To explain and undertake Emergency Procedures
To be able to operate MEWP according to industry best practice
Be able to prepare a mobile elevated work platform for operation
Be able to operate a mobile elevated work platform
Be able to prepare the mobile elevated work platform for transport
To be able to work safely.
