WHO IS THIS FOR?

Anyone required to use a Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) as part of their work. This would include novices and experienced operators who require their skills up-dating.

Duration:

1 days Training with an integrated City & Guilds NPTC Assessment

Attendees:

max. 4 per course

Venue:

This is normally completed on a mwmac site locally to Builth Wells or Llandrindod Wells.

If you have enough people for a full course we are able to run this course on your site (subject to a pre-course visit).

Pre-requisites:

None

Qualification:    

City and Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award in the Safe Use of a Mobile Elevated Work Platform

CERTIFICATE TYPE:

mwmac Training Certificate & City & Guilds NPTC Qualification Certificate

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

  • To be able to review of current legislation and risk assessment
  • To undertake MEWP inspection and setup
  • To explain and undertake Emergency Procedures
  • To be able to operate MEWP according to industry best practice
  • Be able to prepare a mobile elevated work platform for operation
  • Be able to operate a mobile elevated work platform
  • Be able to prepare the mobile elevated work platform for transport
  • To be able to work safely.
